CRITICAL REVIEW ON A DISCOURSE ANALYSIS RESEARCH: WHAT NOVICE WRITERS CAN LEARN

EFL learners inevitably will enter the world of academia, which makes it mandatory for them to write academic writings, especially in form research articles. They are obliged broaden knowledge field their interest by conducting research. Unfortunately, writing has always been a serious challenge them. Writing articles indeed requires be familiar with guidelines, particularly about how ideas developed. This present study is therefore intended assist learners, those who have just started experience. Insight and on article presented this paper. To do that, qualitative methodology discourse analysis was employed. The data taken from focusing marker comparisons between non-academic writings. broken down detail provide clear picture constructed authors. revealed that even though contains some minor weaknesses, overall well-written follows author guidelines. allows receive more explicit input and, hopefully, adapt adopt steps written.
